Making the jump from unbelief to belief and trust - Stepping out on the good steps and seeing how they turn out. In my journey, I don't expect you the reader to make the same presuppositions I am making, but I would hope you would explore this concept with me, as I am taking this journey of trust.
On my journey, I am presupposing the belief in an Ultimate Truth and that this truth is all powerful. I realize this a huge supposition to make, but as I have stated before, the way I have discovered to find trust again is to start with the impetus of the idea of trust, and see where it leads me. As I explore these regions of the idea of an Ultimate Truth, I will refer to truth in the masculine. I understand in many people's experience the masculine and truth were not synonymous. I do understand this perspective, yet there are also some who have bitter memories of the feminine, so to simply switch to the feminine does not adequately address the issue.
In the Bible, the authors chose to display God as a true version of the devoted father, passionate husband, and faithful son(New Testament). I chose also to use this term of masculine in my journey, but rest assured, I mean this term as in the Biblical sense above, and not as in terms that masculine is thought of today.
